Over the past decade, a study for the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association shows that Ontario drivers were overcharged by around $3 billion for auto insurance. In 2013 alone, it was concluded that the average family paid around $100 to $120 more for insurance.
According to lowestrates.ca, Ontario has the highest auto insurance premiums in Canada.
