Talking Fitness with Lawyer Jeremy Diamond
Lawyers Jeremy Diamond, of Diamond and Diamond Personal Injury Lawyers, and Jeff Levy were recently featured in Shalom Life to talk fitness. The two lawyers were asked about the importance of fitness and how they’re able to stay in shape.
Describe to me your relationship with fitness as a young kid
I’ve always been an active guy, ever since I was little. I was an Ontario ranked racquetball champion as well as an avid hockey player so no matter what the season, I have always maintained a strict training schedule. Working out has always been a major priority for me; I use it as a tool to clear my mind after a stressful day at work.
How often do you work out and what’s your standard regimen?
I work out twice a week with a trainer and on my own for four days. I try to make time to hit the gym during lunch when possible, otherwise I go right after work.Chest and Triceps one day, Legs and biceps the next, and then abs and the rest on day three. It’s a cycle that has worked for me for years. I do try to rotate specific exercises though in order to keep challenging myself. I also really enjoy doing cardio so I go for a run whenever I get the chance when the weather permits. It’s a nice contrast against the city landscape.
